I was just taking pictures of the add on when Kyah decided to snuggle Brevan.
Brevan looked so cute and tiny, I had to take a picture!

This was the 4th of July. Kyah stayed glued to Jinni (her new aunt) all night. My brother Matt is also in the picture.

Me, Brevan, and Grandma & Grandpa--waiting for the fireworks!

Grandpa, Brian, and Porter--also just waiting for the show to start!

So, the sheetrock is all finished. We will be starting to paint this week. All that we have left is painting, the rest of the finish work, the new cabinet and countertop, flooring, finish electrical, the patio, and the tile in the bathrooms.

This is my bathroom all ready for paint. This is how it looks from the bedroom.

This is inside the bathroom.

Looking from the kitchen out.

Looking towards the kitchen.

These are my new pantries and closet.

Again looking from the old kitchen out!! I can't wait for my improved kitchen!! A week from tomorrow they say!

Bri had just hung one door for the closet area.

Bri getting ready to work, and sweat his brains out. It is hot in our house!

The condition of my kitchen for the last several weeks.

So I have some updates on the old blog.

Kyah in the sprinklers, and being very girly.
Porter and our neighbor Parker running through the sprinklers.

Brevan just hanging out.

Kyah and Brevan relaxing.

Porter lost another tooth. Brian and Kyah are just a couple of goof balls!

Everyone snuggling and sound asleep!

Kyah is always holding Brevan.

So, now for the remodel. This is the ceiling coming down. The sheetrocker made a total mess of everything. So, a new guy was hired to fix it all up-which included starting from scratch in places.
View of where our counter will eventually be.

View from the new eating area into the kitchen.

This was the beginning of the end for the sheetrocker.

The framing for my pantry.

After the wall came down.

Getting ready for sheetrock.

The bathroom remodel.

Taking down the kitchen wall.

The view from the outside.

Putting in the beam.

Before the wall came out.

So, we are also adding on to our house, for those of you who did not know. This is how it looked before we got started. We are adding on a family room and eating area.
We are taking down our patio cover in this picture.

This was when we excavated.

This is a picture of the framing for the foundation.

Framing was happening at this point, before the wall in the kitchen was taken out.

This is what it looks like from the outside.

Porter loves kissing Brevan. He kisses him every second it seems like.

Me, Kyah, and Brevan just hanging out.

Porter lost his 3rd tooth, so this is him with his note to the tooth fairy.

The kids love to snuggle with Brevan, he is so loved!!

Our addition was started May 28th, that was when they dug. We are in the sheet rocking phase of things now. I have pictures of this, and everything in between. When I get the pics off of my camera I will post them all.

Things are going great with little Brevan. Kyah calls him Brevers, I think that might be a name that will stick! We are totally enjoying him. He is such an important part of our family. I cannot believe we ever lived without him. We are so grateful for this miracle in our lives.

Brevan is home!! Yeah!!
He was placed with us by Shiann in our home June 2, 2009, up in his nursery.
We all went together to get his new born pictures taken!
The "moms": Me, Shiann, and Brevan.
This is the whole group: All of us, and Brevan's birth family. Shiann, Jeremy, and "Glamma".

The kids!! They love him so much!! Porter says one of his favorite things is to kiss his forehead.

We are so glad Brevan has been born to the most wonderful birth mom in the world. She loves him so much, and we are so thankful she sacrificed so much on his behalf. Now that he is home, it seems like he has never not been a part of the family. It seems hard to remember not having his sweet little spirit always around us. We all love him, each other, and his birth family very much. We are so blessed!! It is totally amazing to see Heavenly Father's hand working directly in all of our lives.
