Kyah's little festive outfit!
Okay, now for the baby stuff!
Name: Holden Joseph
Date: Oct 16, 2009
Time: 12:43 pm
Weight: 8 lbs 14 oz (enormous in my opinion)
Length: 20.5 in.
After a very long and painful 9 mos, our little Holden was born. Everything went really well with the delivery, except for the fact that his shoulders would not come out. Once he was out, he looked like he had been in a really bad fight, and lost. He was purple and blue and really swollen! He looked like a corpse, kind of creepy for Halloween I guess! He has lots of dark hair and is really chubby, which is a totally different look than all our other kids have had.
We are totally excited to have him as part of our family. We are so grateful for him, and each of our other children. It has been such a struggle for us, but it has all been worth it. We are so thankful for all of our blessings. There are not words to describe the gratitude we feel.

Kyah is pleased as can be to have another baby in the house.
Porter says he wants two more babies. Yikes!
This was right when we got home. Brevan seemed really excited.
Getting ready to leave the hospital. Let the fun begin!

The kids were not allowed in the hospital because of the swine flu. I made my way out to the parking lot a couple of times to see them!! Ouch!! It was worth it to see them though!
This was right after he was born.
Would you look at the size of that mitt!! OH, I mean hand.
This was shortly after the fight he had, the one where his face took a beating.
See.....a corpse!
He was alive, but boy did he not look it!
He peed two times before they actually weighed him, but there it is in black and red.
He looks happy, don't you think?
See how purple he is, quite sad!

Kyah loves the pony rides at Thanksgiving Point.
Kyah never lets me do anything I want with her hair. She hated this hair-do, but I made her be in a picture. I knew it would be the first and last time I would see her like this. I think she looks adorable!
We went and ate at Porter's Place to celebrate Porter's last soccer game.
This is my nephew Tate, they stopped by on the way to the MTC. It will be crazy to see how much Brevan will change by the end of his mission.
Brevan looking extra cute! I could just eat up that smile and dimple!
The kids love to hang out and watch cartoons in the chair.

Well, I am suppose to get induced on Friday--I don't know what time, but I hope it is early. I would like to get a good nights rest though. That probably won't happen!! Having a newborn that wakes up in the night, and getting up to visit the potty regularly throughout the night kind of prevents me from sleeping too well!!
Brevan had his 4 month check-up, so here are his stats:
weight: 12lbs 14 oz
length: 26 inches
he is in the 10% for both. He is just like the other kids, small!
He also rolled over for the first time on Friday! I went to go fill up his bottle, and pull a Snicker's out of the freezer--and when I came back he was on his tummy!! I totally missed it. I was so bummed! He is such a good boy, the best baby in the whole world! We are so lucky he is part of our family, he means everything to us! We are so grateful for Shiann--she has changed our lives forever, and for the better.
Even though it is not going to happen, lets all pray the baby comes today!! In addition, lets hope it only takes an hour and it is pain free. Oh, and the 61 lbs I've gained will come out with the baby! In fact, I will look and feel as if I was never even pregnant! If I'm going to dream, I'll dream big!
